All southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Petaluma were closed Saturday afternoon after a collision involving two SUVs, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred north of East Washington Street at about 1:15 p.m., the CHP said. Southbound traffic was diverted off the highway, and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
